Kaleido [2020]
Typeface Design
Kaleido is a neo-grotesque sans serif inspired by the gentle and geometric edges of a kaleidoscope pattern.
It is a modular typeface designed with panic disorder patients in mind, and uses basic geometric shapes like squares, quadrants and circles to construct each letter.
With its low contrast, Kaleido is highly adaptable as body, header or footer text.
Kaleido Applications
don’t panic—a guide to staying focused and keeping calm aims to raise awareness for panic disorder patients through a series of calming exercises. All graphics and text were created using Kaleido typeface.
The guide contains exercises such as breathing rhythms, colouring pages, puzzle games and yoga poses. In addition, readers are given bite sized paragraphs of advice on how to reduce stress levels.
